Been hearing about you.
All about your disapproval.
Still I remember the way I used to move you.
I wrote you a letter.
I heard it just upset you.
Why don't you tell me?
How can I do this better?
Are you out there?
Do you hear me?
Can I call you?
Do you still hate me?
Are we talking?
Are we fighting?
Is it over?
Are we writing?
We're getting older.
But we're acting younger.
We should be smarter.
It seems we're getting dumber.
I have a picture
of you and me in Brooklyn.
On a porch, it was raining.
Hey, I remember that day.
And I miss you.

  • BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH ... emo, hardcore, punk, metal ... BLAH BLAH BLAH. Appreciate good music instead of trying to figure out what genre it fits and how "hardcore" you are. Talk shit and write stupid comments. That's all you YouTubers do these days. If you're so annoyed, pick up an instrument, and get out there and do it yourself instead of talking shit. "You're not punk, and I'm telling everyone. Save your breath I never was one."

  • Frank Iero sent me here! he has the most wicked taste in music ever

  • Stop the internet exchange of self-rightous coments. Can't everyone just enjoy a good song without trying to push things into obscurity. One Love

  • To me this is just good heartfelt music not influenced by trends. Isn't that enough?

  • @jdankhead You must be very proud...

  • @NiteOwlNation I'd say rites of spring were the first to garner that emo label. kinda reminded me of fusing the emotion of the cure and joy division with punk chords..that was awhile ago.

  • @bakkermaarten007 Remember rites of spring?

  • There is always the guy who talks shit, the guy who call him out with his 26 thumbs up, and then there is the guy like me....THE OUTSIDER of music!

  • @TheAtmos77 What do you think emo is ? Emo was (and still is) EMOtive hardcore (punk). So yes, Jawbreaker is emo because they're punk but more emotional and more melodic play.

lol, what do you think emo is? The bands you see on televsion aren't emo, that's just marketing (mcr, panic at the disco, asking alexandria and others...are all just crap marketed towards teenagers)

  • People who have to brag about how punk they are aren't. You want to be, and thats not what its all about, and never was. Punk was about the freedom of expression about the way you do things. Now it;s who is more hardcore, who is more Black Flag, and who is better. Your not Punk; your punks.

  • According to some site, these guys were the ones who started "emo". I say that's kinda crap to label music such as. And we joke that Schwarzenbach wears casual henlies.

  • I hate genres and I think that anyone who bases what they listen to on the genre of a song is a fucking moron. Music is music enjoy it.
