@froggytv THAT DOES NOT WORK!

no the huge, huge, huge difference between home premium and others is the fact that pro and ultimate can use up to 192gb of ram vs 16gb... also for the fact that they have their "xp mode"

@TheUberDeity Yes, my initial thoughts were wrong. Turns out the reason it kept bsod'ing is because my sata connections were going bad. I have since re-installed it and its still not my favorite OS, I still favor XP, but my feelings with Win7 are neutral.

Well, it's almost November 2010, you posted your message 5 months ago, and Windows 7 has been universally praised, lauded, has sold by the truckloads, outshot Snow Leopard in the first two weeks of it's release......
.....and the greatest achievement......
....it smoked the living shit out of Snow Leopard on it's own Macbook Pro platform (tested by CNET).
Guess your predictions were wrong.

@TechTutorials4you it is actually better and more stable than vista. if you install it on an old computer it might not run well but if you buy a new computer with it then it will run great.

People are just fooled by the new look. I assure for by november of 2010, people will hate 7 just as much as vista. Chris is a big mac user.. so I think he may just kinda overlook 7's problems due to his affilation with it. I actually had a 62 yr old man whos laptop i worked on (had win7) tell me that he hated windows 7 because it just was blue screening on him (He said the computer just got a blue screen then shut down). I told him I would install XP for him and he said it felt like it was xmas

I wonder if the next version of Windows will be Windows RE, Ribbon Edition. xD

A guy sitting in front of 3 monitors doing a tech show should not be telling others to 'get a life'...
