Rage Against the Machine opening their set with Gruerilla Radio at the Denver Coliseum on August 27, 2008. The free concert took place during the 2008 Democratic National Convention and also featured The Flobots, The Coup, State Radio, and Wayne Kramer.

clapzilla: I can appreciate you, and others, pointing out that it wasn't actually part of the DNC and also a free show. I know people may see me as hypocritical given that I actually LIKE Rage, but do not idolize them or many of their messages. Hell, I like Tool as well, but they made (a great song) about being pissed off that everybody's bitching about something (while bitching all about it). WAKING UP isn't just being opposite, but understanding BOTH sides.

Just To The Facts Straight There Were No Tickets Sold, The Show Was Free.

I'm Not A Raving Anti-War Freak. I Simply Signed Up For Tickets To See One of My Favorite Bands. I Do However Appreciate People Standing Up For Their Beliefs. IVAW Members Are Speaking Out Against Being Lied To By The People With Power And The Democrats For Promising A End To The Conflict But Doing Nothing Once They Get Into Office. I Don't Get Involved Because I Also Know Those People Don't Have The Right Perspective.
