Today while kayaking out in the Gulf, maybe 300 meters from the shore, we ran into a huge school of cownose rays. I'm guessing 100, maybe more. There were so many we thought it was a bunch of dead seaweed floating on the surface until we got up on them. Also came up on 2 spotted eagle rays in a shallow area, maybe 6 feet deep. Awesome day!
We went to sanibel island for the past 3 years and we always go down to the lighthouse it's so old and last year we saw dolphins right off of this same beach!
