How exactly does calling Ute fans "classes, boozing lowlifes" and telling them to "go back to their shanties" show pride & confidence? It doesn't. And whats wrong is that you judge them for living a more libral lifestyle and wearing a different colored shirt on Saturdays. Just becasue somebody lives different than you doesnt make it wrong
And just because somebody decides to get drunk it doesnt make them a fool.

That accusation often made by Utah fans, which you just repeated, of BYU fans being arrogant and judgemental is really meaningless. Don't mistake pride and confidence (which Utah fans have just as much of when they are winning) as arrogance. Why are we judgemental? Just because our school is owned by a particular church with specific teachings? See, I can say that many Ute fans are drunken fools because I see it every year.
