I wonder who would win in a showdown, Patrick Bateman or that Hedra chick.

From the novel SWF Seeks Same by John Lutz. One of the finest thrillers of the 90's: script balanced & logical. Bridget Fonda plays perfectly as a delicious actress, Jason Leigh very persuasive. Great suspense. Dark environment inside the Ansonia New York Palace, a magnificent example of Art Nouveau structure.

That's what I was thinking.

I once read that stories, movies too since they tell a story, have to have something you can recognise from your own life, but this movie is completely different from my own life, yet it's an amazing movie that is scary as well.
