Happy Feet the lost emperor penguin finished up at Peka Peka Beach in New Zealand, north of Wellington, on 20 June 2011. After swallowing sand and twigs he was taken to Wellington Zoo for surgery and recuperation. Two months later he was finally released into the Southern Ocean on 4 September 2011
