  • is there a way that tghe design could not be recversible i wanted it the same look on both side.....i am making this scarf for a my friend who a education major....i made the big apple chart myself by while knitting into the design with the two colors i get these HUGE floats...my question is how do i get the design evenly on both side without floats when using double knitting???????? HELP PLZ

  • @sweetpooh06 The very nature of double-knitting is the positive/negative of the two sides. Since each yarn is used in every pair of stitches, there should be no "floats." I think you need to start over.....

  • I appreciate the thorough explanation. More explanation is always better for me. If someone wants to look rather than listen, they can hit the mute button. I'm currently making a scarf (slowly) using the methods from your videos, since they provide the look I want. It's going to take ages, but my scarf should look great in the end. I'm usually terrible at picking up new techniques from videos, but I was able to follow yours. That proves it's good! ;)

  • @pokerjackal1 Thanks for the kind words.Producing these videos is a lot of work and I'm glad you've found them helpful.

  • how do you keep your working yarn from getting all kinky? my yarns are always getting tangled into knots when I try to double knit.
