I was born in 1946 and this was a real fun childhood song, for me, in the 1950's. Thanks for re-producing it in such a brilliant way !!! Puts a hop, skip and a jump into my tired old body. :-)

This song was used as the theme of the campy 1960's children show: "Archie and friends" produced in Canada.... It was used by a sock puppet character named "Marvin The Mouse".....and I do have fond memories of watching that show as a child.....

I remember this song as a kid when Phil Harris sang this in the 1951 WWII movie, "The Wild Blue Yonder". It always made me laugh! He was a real big personality and his music reflected that. I always felt that he really enjoyed himself. This is very much a '50's fun song!

Believe or not..I have an aunt who was crazy about Arthur Godfrey at the time and I knew of his version of this song first..
