Very sorry it took so long to respond I am not on you tube very often. The gear that I use is pieced together with elements that work for me. The two main components are the head and chest gear. The head piece is from AWMA and has been working well protecting my face and ears two problem areas. The chest is actually part of police riot gear that protects the shoulders and spin. I can move freely and react more naturally and still absorb a great bit of punishment. Hope this helps.

Techniques are one thing. Belief and confidence are another. The women in this video don't appear to just be doing a technical walk-through, like you see in so many weekend seminars: they seem to really own what they've learned.

Don, where did the women featured fall on the "your mileage may vary" scale? I'm not asking to poke holes in your program (again, I like what i saw): if you're able to even get one out of four students to that level, that's good on you!

These classes are only 4 to 6 weeks. I try to give these ladies as much practical information and training as I can in such a short time. My goal is to impower ladies with knowledge and show them that they can protect themselves and do not need a man as a protector as many believe. You I and they know that without practice and constant thought none of it will save them. Many return to every class, others keep in touch and say they see the world differently now.

This is a joke. Giving women the false confidence that they will be able to fight back. Most women self defence courses are scam, and this is a perfect example. These women will quickly see reality for what it is once they get punched out cold.

I normally do not respond to comments like yours however, I am curious as to what you are inferring by your comment. It appears that you think little of women and their ability to defend themselves. This attitude towards wsd is why many women are trapped in abusive relationships, raped and or killed. Thank you for your comment and I plan to use your comment in my teachings to motivate those who have chosen not to believe the way you do.

Were you and I looking at the same video? Those women could throwdown - and with only 6 weeks of training. That says a lot about the fighting spirit of women and solid, stress-tested martial arts skills.

Im empowered by self confidence and achievement and its my honor to say that Donjitsu taught me. Meet any women in his class and you will quickly see what reality can bring to you. Its not how hard you hit someone, its where you hit them. A female understands how to utilize techiques of illusion along with a minimum use of strength and they can deliver great damage to one who would do them harm. Jokes on you nicholassarcozy you are a perfect example of weakness and the unknown scares you.

i really liked your video as i also do the same way just we dont have gears like you have but yes this will give them confident its not necessary they will be getting in physical confrontation every time but yes this will help them to stand up against one or just any other situation as they know they will be able to do better then befor after going through this process

@MelonBreadHead Why would I come to a women's class? I'm a guy and I train with the pros. The difference between you and me is that I know what the hell I'm talking about when it comes to martial arts and you don't. These women are nowhere near ready to defend themselves, but hey, not bad for six weeks. They must see the world in a new light now, until they get beat up again. It takes more than six weeks to learn something worthwhile. I would know, I've been at it for years.
