Many licensed and publicly accessible databases now allow users to convert database searches into RSS feeds. This powerful feature allows the searcher to save a search as an RSS, subscribe to that feed, and be notified when new database content is added that meets the search criteria specified by the researcher. This video explores search to RSS in four databases: the ASCE Research Library, TRB's TRIS database, NLM's Pubmed, and CSA's Mechanical and Transportation Engineering Abstracts. -Ken Winter, VDOT Research Library, 5-28-10
