VERSUS 2009 Trailer - We got ourselves a game, Underdog commercial - With Lyrics

I saw this trailer a couple of weeks ago and it blew my mind with the commentary in it. I uploaded it with the lyrics here in the sidebar. I do not own this video it belongs to the VERSUS channel.

Heres the thing that makes life so interesting. The theory of evolution claims that only the strong shall survive. Maybe so...maybe so...But the theory of competition says just because their the strong doesn't mean they cant get their ass's kicked. Thats right. See what every long shot, come from behind underdog will tell you is this. The other guy may in fact be the favorite, the odds maybe stacked against you, fair enough. But what the odds don't know is this isn't a math test. This is a completely different kind of test. One where PASSION has a funny way of trumping logic. So before you step up to the starting line, before the whistle blows, and the clock starts ticking. Just remember out here the results don't always add up. No matter what the stats may say, and the experts may think, and the commentators may have predicted, when the race is on all bets are off. Don't be surprised if someone decides to flip the script and take a pass on yelling uncle. And then suddenly as the old saying goes, WE GOT OURSELVES A GAME!

@thequest49 I'm sorry I don't ever recall drinking a smoking cigars while hunting. I remember spending an entire weekend in the outdoors searching and freezing with no guarantee of seeing anything. If I were any animal I would much rather take a shot to the heart than having my throat ripped out of my neck by a pack of coyotes. Give something a try with an open mind before you judge it because you obviously are very ill-informed.

The hunting scenario is so out of context.....maybe give the buck a chance to shoot back. Drinking and smoking cigarettes while pursuing a hobby does not constitute a 'sport'. Defending hunting as 'sport'....maybe in your county but don't expect it to become an Olympic event anytime soon in the rest of the world, 'sport'. I shoot skeet btw....little old hippie me.

For those of you bitching about hunting, here's something to consider. Hunting has been part of human life from the beginning, it is a part of nature. The next time you put a piece of meat in your ignorant mouth, think about the slaughter house it came from. Hunting is far more humane that what goes on in the slaughter house. You think hunters simply walk out in to field a shoot an animal and go home. No, we spend often days at a time enjoying nature and not seeing a damn thing. WAKE UP HIPPIES!

hunting is definitely a sport, and "the other team" definitely knows there playing. Its just nature at work, animals eat other animals. If animals didn't know what was going on wouldn't they just walk right up to the hunters? Instead they flee. Its pretty simple really.
