KMST 1.2.415 - Liberation of Aswan (EASY mode)

The Liberation of Aswan challenge was released in KMST 1.2.415! You can access it from the Mirror of Dimension.

This is very similar to Nett's Pyramid. You can choose between two modes, easy and normal (in this case the guy in the video chooses easy), and you can probably do it in party as well.

The Liberation of Aswan can be done at different level ranges: 40~79, 80~119, 120~159, and 160~200 (thanks Orange Mushroom's blog for the information).

The first impression? Well, it REALLY looks great and the BGM is, too, but it seems as if it was rushed and maybe originally was meant to be a town. Maybe they couldn't finish it in time for the public server patch, which is supposed to be next week. Or maybe they'll just release the town itself later. As of now, Hilla can't be seen. Yet. But we get to fight against her undead army for now.

Also, something which I particularly loved is that reinforcements from Ereve are sent.. to fight on your side! I think this is a first in a PQ, and.. it makes it even more interesting to me.

Yeah, because we're talking of a real war here: Ereve's army vs Hilla's. So those birds sent there are the support from Ereve. This is all part of an even bigger war: the whole Maple World against Black Mage.

The BGMs are really great, and I highly doubt they would make them just for such a "short" challenge (will probably be harder in the official servers). Also, there's also a BGM just for the map where you get sent after you complete the challenge. They're both great.. way too dramatic to be just for this. It seems that there's more which we will see in the future. Maybe the complete area with Hilla herself? Hopefully. And I'm sure that whenever we have to fight her, it'll be an epic fight.

Anyways, after you finish the challenge you get transported to the Aswan Refuge, home to the cursed spirits of Aswan. This might just be the first part required before the fight with Hilla. Afterall, there are some NPCs with apparently no use there as of now. They'll probably be used for quests later on. Quests which might be required to enter the actual town and fight Hilla.

Seeing as there are so many NPC's at the end, it's probably just "breaking in" into aswan.

Making all the hype and Hilla's appearance just for a 1 minute raid is RIDICULOUS.

Keep waiting people... For the Black Mage's undead army shall rise once again!

@Webo250 Hilla said that "it was not over yet", and I doubt she'd go so easy on Ereve's army after they humiliated her like that (see:"Phantom at Ereve's conference" video), so.. no, I don't think this is all. Also, according to Max (Orange Mushroom's blog owner), that where you get sent after finishing the challenge is Aswan Refuge, home to the cursed spirits of Aswan. So yeah. Many NPCs there still don't even work, which hints at the full town being released in the future. I hope so.
