Cycle Cancelling Shenanigans

Mixed bag really this one.
Thr Perseus fight is more FAIL than WIN but it serves a purpose. Had to throw some style in there to bring it up to par. Everyone knows the BH is all about triangle,triangle with odd MotK usage, right? Well this is my attempt to show it has a few more tricks up its metaphorical sleeve than that. As you can see it excels at making elevated knockbacks. Sure, you have to use AB Ascension first and you could get a similar effect with a faster ascension with the SoD to air PS but fuck that. This is about using the hammer with a little finesse. Savvy?
Perseus stage 1 (unseen quite literally), wait for the end of his 8 hit attack then get two triangle hits in with RotT for GREAT JUSTICE.
Stage 2, SoD PS RAEP. It works so well there is little sense doing it differently. Stage 3, I was trying to utilise Cycle Cancelling to negate Perseus' Flash attack.
Turns out it didn't work.Meh. Shit happens.
Stage 3 tactics, push him to a wall with bow shots, this nets a handy stun, useit to let him FEEL YOUR PAIN. After making this vid I would advise you stick to the tried and tested method of dropping a couple of CR orbs during his flash attack. It works.

Very stylish mix of Blades/BH. Efficient too. THAT sort of things suits my tastes.

I'd consider that a good show of how Hercules (especially) could approach this area..besides 3x square or pummeling to death with 2x triangle.

I'd expected this reaction to CC usagage against "Flash". I'd bee sort of hoping you would double jump the hold L2 *bow* here to show a tested usage of Air Tricking through "Flash".

Even more stylish is when the elevated knocknack lands them right on the edge and you follow it up with MotK, neatly bouncing them over the edge.

tried air tricking too, regardless of where you were when the flash/stun cutscene starts it always puts you close to Perseus.

Crushing Defeat actually works because Perseus is pushed back easily and you can't argue with a free stun just for pushing him into a wall.

Must differ with the upinion that this is a Hercules tactic. Hercules destroys with MAX power. No need for cheap instant death tactics.

Hercules mainstay should be shit other people wouldn't get away with like square,square,triangle with the BH. Slow uncancellable and, without CC, a sure way of taking (double)damage.

In short, pressing start, cycling through all the sub weapons, pressing start again.

It cancels out of any special move you may have been doing without the delay that normally happens after it

DR and PS would be far less appealing for him..damage dealing spells (other then for crowd control, extension/reach or style) really don't work for him either...but he shouldn't be using EH really...though it clearly goes well with BH.. I don't fully support the combo for Herc.

TB and BH. I'd prefer no Rage be used even in NUR conditions.

~I'd have expected it to be leveled up (with Restart afterward) just to see Euryale's hair/snakes going apeshit whilst staring at Perseus

It's Hercules flavor. Not so much when you can resort to full power (MAX) and RAGE through all foes. I'd keep such tactics in mind for the handling of Herc:TM:NUR

On MAX, his flavor indeed would be overwhelming power...since he can't take a hit worth a shit (GK *lololol*).

Perplexing...

CD is a good choice for this task (strange words coming out of my mouth)..especially with the ability to cancel out of it in a hurry.
