This is another car I like and test drove at a local used car dealer. I was surprised how peppy this thing was, I think it's 165hp. I only ever saw a few of these when I was a kid, haven't seen one here in years. The car is in very good shape, hardly any rust at all and the paint is great. Still though, with 131,000 miles $2,700 seems like a lot. (NADA book is $2,500) He said he might consider taking $2,500 but I didn't really anticipate spending that much on a 25 year old car with 131k. Plus if I decide to sell it I highly doubt anyone would pay me $2,500 for it.

  • @rockford74 Are you kidding, good luck finding one this age with that kind of power and no rust. Toyotas suck.

  • My mom had an 86. Man I loved that car.

  • awesome car mate, i LOVE the parisiennes, they bring back memories every time i see them or think of them!! :)

  • @LynolsOffice id say teh carb ( more than likely a quadrajunk. said wiht respect btw. ) but would take care fo the surging, wiht a carb overhaul. would be great wiht that repaired and either hte ac recharged or converted. its in excelelnt shape for its age. those miles tell me it was hardly driven. per average miles used.

  • @rockford74 Don't under-estimate the reliabillity of these old boats. They go through hell and back, which an 85 Toyota does not.

  • @carntruckfreak4life You are correct,. Some of the canadian made Parisianne actually used the caprice dashboard yet there are some that have the Bonneville. To each his or her own but I prefer my pontiac to have a Bonneville dash and my Caprice to have the Caprice dash. One of the strangest I ever seen was a 1960 Buick with a right side steering boasting a 60 Chevy dashboard and it came from the factory that way. It was in Australia.
