Well, I can't remember the specs for the wood, but there wasn't any woodworking involved. I just drilled a hole through a piece and used very long screws to fix beams together. Basically tried to make four frames, and screwed the back frame into the garden fence.

I had cut a hole into the side of the shed so the quails could have some privacy, and used different plants to make the aviary look exotic - used quite a bit of compost.

Great cage is there a hutch attached I wondered for mine If to add low level or a ramp. Do they go in??

Noise nothing really the odd crow like a wild bird so blends in but overall I'd say 2/3 out of 10 10 being a cockerel lol. Chickens/hens a 5 - No noise just very good escapees sure u got no gaps, the texans brilliant very friendly I can open cage with out mass escape. The Cali. Try to get out and the Chinese omg!! Flirty little things damage themselves head butt roofs

i love the cage you should show the insides and use a better quality camera it would be brilliant to see your cage design as it's exactly the type of cage i wanna make for my quail =]

hi sorry to bother u i got a nice setup of my own and thinking of getting 1 pair tomorrow afternoon i just wanna know if they make any noises? i mean 1/10 how noisey are they? i dnt mind if they squeek once every hour or so but what i dnt rele want is for them to be very loud as where i live the people dnt allow any noises :( pls lemme know asap! thank u :)
