nikon d3000

sample images of nikon d3000 using the 18-55mm vr kit lens....this is my first dslr camera that was given to me as a gift and its soooo nice!!! lightweight and a user friendly camera...this unit is really good for first timers like me...

Do you have to always change the settings for every picture you take? I still have questions before buying this camera, if you don't mind :) Thanks

@edwardcute13 yes but not all the time, i change it when i am in every different situations, it is the most common thing to do when owning a dslr..maybe you want to try d3100, it is the latest entry level dslr, it's more better than d3000.. no problem and your welcome.. :)

@johnofarch14 Ive been looking at the d3000 or the canon sx30is, still torn between both :d  my budget for one will be around 400 dollars. And im into landscapes mostly :)

@edwardcute13 i am sorry edward but i cannot do comparison about canon because i dont own one, but d3000 takes gud images in landscape though, all dslr's do and some depend on lenses.. if i wer u, go for the d3100 or if u cant afford it, go find a d3000 body and a 35mm af 1.8 lens that will be a perfect combination :) ...

I just purchased my first Nikon and it's the d 3000 and the as well, how did u get that lens to perform so well I often use the 55- 200

This is a pretty nice camera, I was doing some research on different SLR cameras and was considering this one or the Canon Rebel t2i

@jcforpresident i think our distance concerning simply semi pro and pro is smaller today. d7000 is perhaps all we want. check out... freedslr . cong change cong with com and get a chance to win a new Nikon D7000
