This little beautiful criminologist and law student just came upon this one yesterday, boy was I shocked, to ever believe there were such bizarre partners in crime in the world, back then was interesting, 1970 this was made, right when the world was starting to change.
In January 1970, I rushed to see this film based on the enticing ads that portrayed it as a scary 'Psycho'- type movie. Still in the days of the double-feature and at the top of the bill, I was suprised it was in B&W (3 years already passe) and initially disappointed by it overall, I came to appreciate it immensely over the years. I agree it's reminiscent of John Waters-consider the lines "This is a hospital laboratory, not a motel room" & "Don't they have a PTA out there"?

Came across this movie the other night on TV, it was like a train wreck, but I just couldn't help myself. I stayed up until 3:30 am. Gritty and more.

@store275 Yeah, the grainy black and white smacks of Multiple Maniacs. The Martha character reminded me a bit of Divine, minus the lobster lust.
