some people say that they hate this movie, because a little girl was raped here.. and they say this movie sucks.. But there are feelings, emotions going under the surface that only a few can catch and understand.. this movie is great, because it shows how strong can a human being be, even a little girl. She was able to stand up and sing after that, able to move on... btw I dont like that scene either, could say many things what should be done to the people doing such terrible thing

Great movie, Dakota es great, and the rape scene makes you feel so bad to get you in the movie and kill that son of a b*tch.

Great film and worth watching, but like what some say some people can't get past the rape scene, but the film is way more than that. There's a hidden emotion throughout the film that if you're lucky you can see and understand and realize that that emotion builds up throughout the film and eventually just explodes.
