I recently started hacking (good hacking, btw) because it opens up an entirely new perspective to Animal Crossing. I don't recommend hacking for people who just started playing because it ruins the initial fun of AC. But for someone who has done basically everything Animal Crossing has to offer, hacking is a great way to expand AC to the point that it feels like an entirely new game!
For the last month, I've been working with Bowsersenemy to find the 4-digit codes for every single acre. This basically allows you to create any town you want with every possible acre. You can even use the entire map and make a 7x9 acre town. More than double the size of a regular town! The only problem is you can't place items in any area not on the visible map (regular 5x6 map) or island. So for my town hack, I'm sticking with a regular 5x6 map and island, but making it look as cool as possible.
You should also check out Bowsersenemy channel, he has some more awesome AC hacking videos.
And in a few days, I will have a section on my website that explains how you can hack your town and put certain acres where you want them to go to make your own map and begin a hacked town!
