The Equality & Human Rights Commission in the UK have announced they will NOT be seeking allowances for religious exemption to anti-discrimination policy. The statement comes prior to 4 cases being heard at the European Court.

Following a spate of gay suicides of US high school students, a Florida Social Studies teacher has been suspended for posting anti-gay comments on Facebook. Jerry Buell called gay marriages a 'cesspool' and a 'sin'.

The 2011 Gay Softball World Series gets underway next Monday with the opening ceremony raising funds for Ben Cohen's Stand Up Foundation. Leslie Jordan heads up the launch at Navy Pier in Chicago.

A new study in 'Investigational New Drugs Journal' is showing that re-engineered ecstasy can be used to cure some cancers. Changes at the atomic level can increase the drugs ability to kill certain cancers by 100 times.

And finally, a new concept in ice cream parlours opened in London's Covent Garden this weekend. Queens of the Dessert offers ice cream facials and massages as well as ice creams you can eat, including the imaginatively titled, 'Whore-netto'.
