kaaNdhe pe apne rakh ke apnaa mazaar guzre
baiThe rahe haiN raaste meN dil kaa khanDhar sajaa kar
shaayad isii taraf se ek din bahaar guzre
bahtii huii ye nadiyaa ghulte hu'e kinaare
ko'ii to paar utre, ko'ii to paar guzre
tuu ne bhii ham ko dekhaa hamne bhii tujhko dekhaa
tuu dil hii haar guzraa, ham jaan haar guzre

what a haunting voice ,there seems to be alot of pain and torture coming from this gazal,after listening to this gazal i feel emotional drained, not in a bad way ,just feeling the pain from her voice ,only from the depts of despair can an artiste attain such depts . i simple adore Meena . a true actress of her time .she also created herself and that can be very destructive she became a prisoner of oneself.
