Senator Dole caught Kevin Saunders completely by surprise as he was introducing President George Bush Sr. which one of his greatest accomplishments during his Presidency was passing the ADA - Americans with Disabilities Act into law. To give people an equal opportunity despite their disabilities as well as equal access to places. During his introduction of President Bush Sr. Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole singled out Kevin Saunders as the first person with a disability that was appointed to the President's Council on Physical Fitness & Sports by President H.W. Bush. Kevin had distinguished himself as one of the world's greatest wheelchair athletes, one of the top motivational speakers in America, as person who goes for Gold every time he participates. Kevin has given away most of the over 700 hundred medals he has won world wide to kids in schools overcoming adversity to succeed in school and kids in Children's Hospitals to encourage them to Never Give Up! on their dreams and goals because; like Kevin Saunders says; "There's Always a Way" to reach your goals when you keep working as hard as you can and fight the god fight, run the great race and keep the faith.
Now Kevin Saunders inspirational speaker, wheelchair athlete, eloquent speaker of the rights of the disabled, business speaker, corporate speaker, school speaker who talks and gets students motivated about getting and education in the classroom, and getting educated about the fitness activities that are best for them and why learning how, why and when eating balanced nutritional meals and healthy snacks and staying educated on how to make the best possible choices for the fitness activities they get involved in and the healthy nutritional food they choose to eat are so important to our nation's youth, parents, teachers, schools districts and community and state leaders and all Americans . This will enable our schools, communities and states lower the current 150 billion being spent on obesity related diseases to be lowered. This is accomplished through education about proper fitness activities and proper nutrition and how to make a quick healthy balanced nutritional meals or healthy snacks.
This is why Kevin Saunders pushed his wheelchair thousands of miles across America in the BIG PUSH from the Canadian border to the Mexican border to promote proper fitness activities & eating healthy balanced meals or healthy snacks to our community & state leaders to help reduce obesity help kids, and all American get fit. The BIG PUSH was the prelude to the - Fitness 4 All 50 State Tour -- a nonprofit 501-c-3 founded by Kevin Saunders and his wife to visit all 50 states in and speak to over 4,000 schools and 4,000 city and state leaders about how we can win the war on obesity and being overweight by providing our communities with the best information from the top fitness leaders and nutritional leaders in America.
