"Airplane!" & "The Naked Gun" Tribute

In 2008, I took two of the greatest comedies of all time -- Airplane! and The Naked Gun -- and pulled out the best scenes from each. I then edited my favorite ones together to create the above video. Because this was created in 2008 when Leslie was very much alive, it was never intended to be a Leslie Nielsen tribute (even though he dominates the majority of the video), but due to the changing circumstances of November 28, 2010, I will acknowledge that a Leslie Nielsen tribute is inevitably what this has become. I had originally dedicated the video to Leslie simply because he was my personal hero, but that too has taken on new significance now.

R.I.P. in particular to those actors who have passed since the creation of this video: Leslie Nielsen, Peter Graves, and Barbara Billingsley.

Leslie, thank you for over 60 years of film, television, and theatre. Your excellence in drama and comedy has inspired me forever. You will be missed.
