Bullfighting's last day in Catalonia

http://www.euronews.net/ Barcelona's massive bullring will be the last in the Catalonian capital to close its doors this Sunday.
It is the end of the bull-fighting season and that means the end for the sport for ever in Catalonia.
It will be outlawed by legislation that comes into force on the first of January, 2012.
180 thousand Catalans signed the petition asking the regional government to make bullfighting illegal.
By voting it in in June 2010, Catalonia followed in the footsteps of the Canary Islands, which outlawed the controversial tradition in 1991.

Don't know why people want to ban this great past time because it's animal cruelty because we have wars going on which are a millions times worst for humans and animals and no one gets mad about that!

@fcerve17 what happens to the bulls is much harsher! bulls do not deserve this. they deserve to be respected like any other living creature we share the planet with. what we do to them is barbaric, and hideous. no living being deserves to be treated that way.

People forget the old traditions it's sad. It's also sad seeing animals get killed. But I hope everyone understands it's a tradition Kill or Be Killed.
