"Each 1 Can Reach 1" - that is our theme to encourage those who live with chronic invisible illness or pain, or hidden disabilities. This video tells you exactly what we are doing to reach out and encourage people by leaving anonymous little notes anywhere from the grocery store to bathroom mirrors! Post your notes, snap photos and upload the photos so we can share. . . and be sure to leave invisibleillness.com on the bottom of the note so people know where to come for more encouragement!

  • Hi Lisa, I got a lot of positive feedback when I included this video in a post on my blog Oh My Aches and Pains! People really like the post it note idea! As for me, I'm publishing a series of posts today with my take on this project ... a virtual post-it note gallery.

  • @SKInouye Thank you so much for sharing the video.. and everything else. Your site has made such a difference with #iiwk10

"Tonight [my husband] was watching your video on the sticky notes. After a minute or so he asked how people like me were supposed to help with the notes while bedridden... RIGHT ON CUE you addressed that very topic! It was awesome! I can't wait to pop messages in with my bills! You have the greatest ideas! Thanks again for all you do despite the obstacles in your life! And we're glad to help support your important work!"

  • I've actually been enjoying sneaking these notes in here and there! I am excited each morning about where I'm going to put them that day! Pam

  • The entire world has at least one undiagnoised mental illness, yet 75% of people have are against people with mental illnesses. There is no such thing as normal. We are ALL special, no matter what. We are never alone. A single person has enough strength to change the world.

  • cool idea! I can't wait to do this.

  • hey Lisa this a really great idea too. I did that years ago when I was studying scriptures. Encouraging notes!!
