I dont think Manowar is performing this song with religious intend as much as telling a good story. Story telling dosnt make one satanic. Max Von Sydow starred in the Exorcist, that dosnt mean he is a satanist. Same thing. Oh and for the record, if one should decide to class Manowar as a religious band they've properbly made more songs about the old norse gods, so i guess they should be something like Norse pagans? I class them only as an awesome band though.

@ODST9137 maidens lyrics ... well they are not excellent, but they are somewhere between Freedom Call and Sabbat (meaning low and high) , so Im satisfied. Maidens showinism ... they are entertainers , do you expect them to stand idle on stage? I hate such an attitude. Everyone can listen to their music home, we go to concerts to see a show. Kiss are legend and you dont need to be straight when you are legend (see Mercury and Halford). But I do consider Manowar better than both

If you want boring music you can go listen to Metallica, Kiss, Guns and Roses, Iron Maiden or maybe the music of any of the stupid pop stars spewn out of Disneys anal. There seems to be another Gregory Kearney here who likes this band, all I can say is the words suck and the theme they use for their songs is of no interest.

But it is good publicity for any band to give people something to talk about.
