I doubt that you can buy less than a few hundred pounds of casting sand. What do you want it for? Dada, aluminum burns can be nasty but have you ever played with molten magnesium?

Hi everybody!Yes,i agree in it's oil bonded sand(very expansive stuff).I'm from Germany and I'm a foundry-Mechanic,also known as Hand-Molder .Greensand is bonded with water and Bentonit,you're right.Aluminium burnings are horrible,i got a few scars on my wrist...i know waht i'm talkin' about.;)

I don't want to be pedantic, but that isnt greensand you were using, it is an oil bonded sand. Greensand is bonded with water.
