Installed a new RA-Tech hop bucking in to my KJW replica of the Ruger 10/22 the other day, and as all you airsofters out there will know, when you put in a new bucking it takes a bit of bedding in and that means shooting time.

Unfortunately I didn't fire off as many rounds as I'd have liked to due to rather poor weather, but I always enjoy firing this rifle regardless so I thought I'd take it out in the rain and have a little chat about the good points and general advantages of the weapon.

  • Another really good vid. What is the maximum accurate range with the new hop rubber and inner barrel? Because Im looking at getting one for a DMR or even for longer range use if its accurate enough. Also what weight BB's and gas do you use to achieve that distance?

  • @MrJmak223 You'll want propane and 0.3/0.32 BBs or above for sure, good heavy weight. Not sure on maximum effective right now, not had any opportunity to test it with the new components.

  • Nice 5.11 Sabre. I've got the same one in moss green.

  • @TheForestKan Yep, brilliant jacket, did a review a little while back.

  • I just recently asked evike and they said no thread on ver 2 anyways can u give me the names of some inner barrels that will work on this rifle? Ty I subbed

  • @idudk It's covered by a screw-on cap on the end of the barrel, I can't be 100% but I'd be very surprised if they specifically removed that for the version 2. Any inner barrels will specifically mention this weapon in the name, as I say, they're totally proprietary to the weapon, so just search for the name of this at places like WGC. Basically, no other type will fit this, and barrels for this won't fit any other weapon.

  • Sorry predictive text. Ment kjw m4

  • Just bought this after seeing your vid, waiting for the falcon extension kit for this to arrive. Apparently the Jheng m4 npas kit fits.

  • @CKinnerley Unfortunantly, they did remove the threaded outer barrel for the version 2. I was pretty bummed about that. Performance is the same, but long mags obviously hold more gas/bb's however they do cool down faster.

  • @idudk The inner barrel is specific to the rifle, so that's a negatory on the AEG inners. The version 2 is just the same on the inside, just comes with slightly different accessories, and both versions have threads on the ends of the outer barrels.
