I prefer the Beatles & have regrts they don't have created this song! This take is nicer than official one, in my modest opinion.

I love hearing demos of amazing songs that have magical production as it gets you to the guts 'n' nuts of the song. The organ sounds wonderful, whose playing - Brian? Nicky Hopkins? Monumental song. Originally written for Perry Como, apparently.

@JoshSwartzberg he wish to be muddy waters, look at the name of the band after a muddys sing
What an amazing summer - while The Stones were creating this masterpiece, The Beatles were creating Hey Jude. Both start slow and build 'whoo whoo, whoo whoo' to 'nah, nah, nah nah'. Look up on youtube "The Beatles, 30 July 1968, EMI Studio 2" The simultaneous creation process of two amazing world changing bands. At 4:57 of Hey Jude, you'll hear Sympathy for the Devil. Same piano lick.
