Air Force Thunderbirds 2011 Thunder Over Niagara Airshow 09/10/11

2011 Thunder over Niagara airshow, Spent 3 hours trying to make it into the show and all I was able to do is sit in traffic. Made it to the gate and was turned away because traffic was to heavy. Managed to find someplace to park to catch the thunderbirds perform. Hope you like the video

I did make it in the second day, got there at about 8:30. Never tried the Whistle Pig, guess I'll have to stop by the next time I'm in the area.

good view. my dad used to work for number 3. i got to have my name in the jet. and if u come to nellis airforce base there is not much traffic for the t bord air show.

I was there both days. I got there EARLY....like 8am. Looks like you got a decent view from the corner of Military and Lockport. Whistle Pig across the road has some amazing hot dogs!! LOL!

Sorry to hear that you couldn't make it into the Air Base for the show. I was sworn into the Air Force by the Thunderbirds during the show and it was really cool. It was a great day :)

went to the lasalle sportsmans club w my dad sat directly under them with ear plugs cause we got way close :)

I got there before they opend, I felt bad for the MPs they where trying to do the best they could, problem was that there where too many stupid people that came and just sat inside the planes or under them. What was the point of coming if you where not going to look at anything!

PS: lets not forget, it was 9/11 weekend, so security and trafic was TIGHT

I could NOT get over the traffic mess. For that reason alone, I will not be attending this ever again. I have many more better things to do than spend half my day in traffic. It was very, very aggravating.

I was there and traffic was horrible! spent like 45 minutes sitting in front of somebodys house! good video!

Traffic was AWFUL. Sorry you were turned away, glad you found a spot at least. Nice to see the maneuvers from a different perspective!
