This is pretty interesting. You hold a lego box in front of a webcam. The software recognizes the box then renders a 3D model of the completed set. The set moves as you move the box... just watch the damn video.
Not that amazing well it's if you know nothing about electronics, how it works is there is electronic particle printed on the box and I.R sensors that triggers the visuals to pop up the screen.

Augmented Reality - similar tech used on the Nintendo 3DS and even something like I've seen where you use a Cheerios box to play a wild west game.
