"Pretty" by Mackenzie King

Riverlife Productions is proud to release the latest video from Mackenzie King! "Pretty" conceptualizes the overbearing pressure by society to try and better one's image and the extreme measures we reach for to try and accomplish this.
Mackenzie King formed when Toronto artist and drummer Jon Fedorsen meets Vancouver rock prodigy Al Mousseau slogging through jazzy ii-V-i's while attending U of T. The two run into late-night, super-quick guitarist Curtis MacIntyre while killing nightclubs picking at a now lost fender bass. Unlikely pairings mix personal tastes of Bjork, Radiohead, Miles Davis and Squarepusher with the virtuosity and bravado of Freddie Mercury, Bonham, Cedric Bixler and Chris Cornell to form pugnacious power trio.
Named after the former Prime Minister, who was known as much for his penchant for seance as he was for his slow and steady policy, Mackenzie King is more than your average two chord wonders. Retooled, they are currently assembling their next brainchild for dramatic release. No skinny ties please.
