The work "HOME" consists of a video-art installation. The propelling force of the installation is a system of artificial life, that is, the control system of that community is given by an evolutionary algorithm.
That community is represented in two forms. Out of the room, there is a screen where we can observe an abstraction of the "World." The digital world as it really is: mathematic. The individuals have shapes that refer the spectator to the digital/virtual world, and transmit the "mathematic" and the inhumanness inherent to that world. It is a community built on computers and represented by graphics.
On another side, inside the room there will be projections that represent the "building" of that same world. That system presents its own actions and it modifies itself along the time by means of parameters set by the algorithm developed in ActionScript 2.0. During the time that such set of individuals exist, they feed themselves, they reproduce themselves, they die, and so on. The result of those actions is assessed and produces a set of parameters that yield the selection, at each minute, a group of three videos contained in a data base, which are "triggered" in a synchronized fashion on each one of the room walls. The result of such choices produces the presentation of the "panorama" of that world.
The content of such videos is composed of characters that interact in a white immenseness, which move along the various projections.

The proposal is to create a world that communicates with the spectator following those two forms (one of images of actual appearance recorded in video and the other of abstract form or not directly intelligible, represented by numbers) resulting at the same time in the interaction of two aspects of the same "world", one abstract and the other pictorial/real.
The sequence/disposition of those projections aims at creating in the spectator that he/she/it is looking out through windows. By means of the videos, the spectator has access to such "world". The objective is to create a world that communicates with the spectator following the two referred forms, in a process of interaction that it is at the same time abstract/intangible and pictorial/real.
