There is no president of Northern Ireland, It is part of the United Kingdom and the Queen is head of state. Dana Ran for president of the Republic of Ireland in 1997 and did rather well with about 13% of the vote. current president Mary McAllesse won.Presient of Ireland is a ceromonial position only. She later became MEP but lost her seat in 2003. Her strong traditional catholic views make her unpopular in Ireland but she is a popular singer and regularily on TV in Ireland and the UK.

First of all, a dress doesn't have a face(!) and secondly it is not a bicylce, it's a celtic symbol. You can't see it properly when she's sitting down.

I made the correction. Thanks for pointing that out. It appears that in actuality she ran for the President of Ireland in 1992 and 1997. And both times she lost. One time she came in 3rd place. However, it appears she did get elected as a member of the European Union Parliament. If you know more about that please clarify. Thanks.
