  • What racks are those with the #10 cans on it? Thanks

  • @noblinger Six of our racks are made by New Age Industrial Corp out of Norton, KS. We also have one odd ball one that has a plaque that says "Always Can - by Frank".

  • @noblinger I don't think The Epicenter sells the shelving, so maybe it wouldn't be out of line to pass along..look up Shelf Reliance on the web. They sell a line of shelving thats awesome...some designed just for #10 cans..or you can order a combination of small and large racks.

  • @kisathoi Yes, their racks are nice and not too expensive. You can spend as much as $1200 per rack for the ones like we have by the time you add casters. But if you keep an eye on your local Craigs List, or look for listings on Ebay that are not too far away (to keep shipping down), you can pick up used ones for around $300.

  • I appreciate your trying to do the taste test thing but, with employees??? really? Now what do you think I would say about tasting something that I was trying to sell? I dont cook but if I was selling what I made I promise it would be ummm ummm good.

Might be better to get random people. This in not to be mean because I do use your product when we go camping. It is good but you gotta put a bit more random people in your ads.

  • Can you review a product that you sell that isn't good ?

  • man I want those stocked shelves in the background......

  • @NowLifeStarts I'm sorry I actually laughed so hard at that question, but, Yeah, I ate a few such meals for a few consecutive days and I was very much ok, the only thing is that it's pretty salty, so you'll probably be thirsty more often. But it has rather good nutritional info (apart from the amount of sodium...)

  • I did a sampling video for my workplace (fcsurplus) for mountain house scrambled eggs and didnt taste it before shooting the video. I was concerned about "what am i going to do if it tastes bad" :P). But when I tried it, it was actually not bad at all. I mean, I prefer to make my own at home to get that smell of bacon for 10 minutes before breakfast is ready but for camping and such...I like it.

  • I taste test all preparedness foods (MREs, freeze dried) with this in mind: Could I eat this on a camping trip? What if I could'nt get to a store and there is no food available? For any nonbelievers, I recommend you taste test them for yourself so as not to disrespect these people reviewing the foods they are tasting. OF COURSE, this is not your backyard New York Steak Barbeque or Grandma's Lasagna. This is EMERGENCY FOOD.

  • my god those testimonials were the lamest !! so un-authentic in tone.
