A saturday in Noku'alofa. Soo nice! In Noku'alofa you can hear music almost all the time. On a saturday all people go to town and chill. This band is very good, and the brass is world class!

  • Thanx for your nice words, I agree, great times it was!

  • perryproduction, thanks for posting this clip, much appreciated! don't worry they're only sarcastically praising the dancer and pointing out that he doesn't belong to TONGATAPU as he hails from one of the small outer islands!! LOL @ Tom Jones...if only!! LOL

    Thanks once again

  • Thanx, Lily, for explaining. Whats wrong with hailing from other islands?I liked it a lot, it was a wonderful Saturday. And I long back to Tonga, every day.

And I really love a Saturday in Noku'alofa! And I liked Tom Jones singing. I long for Tonga soo much!

  • @Perryproduction LOL there's nothing wrong with hailing from the outer islands, it's just Tongans being Tongan! Don't get me wrong I love Tom Jones but a Tongan Tom Jones?? LOL Tongans and their sense of humour - great stuff! I'm only half Tongan, but all my life, I"ve been travelling there and as of right now, I'm dying to back there!

  • Me too, Lily! I've been there 3 times for 5 months and I long for Tonga and my Tongan friends every day! I also love all the music here. The 2 guys at Shooter's, the corp at the stadium, the police band, and the kava singing. And of course, the church singing, I always took a walk on Sundays and listened to the church singing. And I met Athenisi students performing on Dateline. I could go on for ages, and this is just about the music...

If God wants I'll be back and maybe we can even meet?

  • ma'a lahi koe disco 'ae policemann toe ve'e tonu 'aupito ..sai pe he 'oku 'i loto pe disco he 8hrs.....alu ai tongapoliceeeee...

  • Yes I know Perryproduction. Tonga's got an endless list of simple things that we couldn't even find at where we live now. That's why I yearn to go back there again. I remember my first time going there as a kid, I loved running around barefeet, family feast on sundays, smell the fresh cut grass on saturday afternoons, bonfire at the beach under the stars..OMG..I'm getting carried away here..lol..Meet up there? Should be fun!! LOL
