keyblade!!!

how long is the blade of the kendo sword?
-
I like the sword breaker and spear!
-
is that a scythe in the background?

the wood we use for our cores is treated with a plastic coating so only if it breaks entirely in half or something similar is when splinters become a problem. but given my brother's skill in making these weapons, only shafts and the "kendo" boffers have a risk of breaking like that.
I'm a trained martial artist and 4th kyu in kendo, which is why I help instruct my brother and his friends how to use the weapons safely.

great video. I agree with ongunshi about the core, but as I have said before...there are many ways to build a boffer..and you should work with what is best with you. what you are doing is not wrong.
Aswell I wanted to say thanktyou for the mention of me. It is an honor that you did. I like your beoffers. and I also noticed you and your brother were wearing black and white. Is this accident or planed?
Anyway...I subscribed my brothers and I hope to see more.
Love: its what you do

Good video. The problem I find with using wooden cores is when they do break, even a little bit, the splinters work their way through the foam. This ruins the the weapon even more and is can be a danger when the splinters work their way out. It is not fun being hit by a sword with a wooden splinter sicking out.
ok... now the difference between the spear styles u showed is if u rotate the forehand it is faster and a bit stronger. rotating the backhand provides more movement and better angles of your weapon, and looks a a bit cooler. just a little advice :P
