This is a special treat - an alternate version of Day 5 by The Church (the last third of the song is different from the album version. Steve Kilbey sent me this version a few years ago. Visual treats (motion stills) by David Duchow.
Wow! I was a Church fanatic during their heyday, but lost track of them after "Sometime Anywhere". I heard "Hologram of Baal" a few years ago and wasn't impressed. This song is incredible, though. Any recommendations on what to get from their last two decades? Uninvited Like the Clouds and Untitled #23 seem like their best reviewed albums. (???)

@dadaist2011 May as well chime in again. Glad to see there are those out there supporting this most excellent, timeless group.

@gavgams thanx for the comments... yes, this version, which SK sent to me on a home-made disc, has a much nicer ending.

Thanks Mr Dada.
Great vid. Great songwriting.
Very very special, the quieter tracks on the second half of this album.
I like this version better than the slightly odd ending on "quietly" on the release, but probably done to get a an extra track on.
Also I see no you tube posting at all of Pure Chance, which is a real shame. We'll have to do something about this.
