Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin out of castle glitch

Using Charlotte's Owl Morph spell, it's possible to go outside the castle walls. Here's what you need to do to activate this glitch:

1) Take control of Charlotte & have the Owl Morph spell equipped.
2) Go to the Forest of Doom.
3) Stand at the right hand edge of the portrait leading back to Dracula's castle, then press Up + Y.
4) If done correctly, you should begin morphing into an owl and teleporting back to the Castle simultaneously.
5) When you return to the castle, you'll now be outside the walls.

I'd like to note two things about this glitch. You can use a magic ticket and return to Vincent's shop at any time. Also, if you suspend your game and try to resume it the screen will go black and freeze up.
