@wedgejt I've lived here in the same house on Oahu all 19 years of my life. I still think it rare for kids my age and younger to realize the blessing we call home. They call home, for granted. I do run into people who appreciate our beautiful home. :P But I still don't know if anyone has ever been moved to tears by the beauty and spirit of the land like I do. I really love my home and I never take it for granted.

The painting in the background is by our beloved artist Herb Kane who passed away this year at 82. Look up under his name and see many of the paintings he has made showing Hawai'ian life from the beginning . He showed the Hawai'ian people as they are , beautiful, intelligent , family loving people.
Mahalo Herb. R.I.P. until John 5:28,29 is fulfilled.

I wonder if the people that live in Hawaii are able to always realize the beauty of their lives? The people living in Hawaii are the kindest and gentlest people I know - but they know life is not easy for them, so I wonder if they know really of the Aloha they live with-in? The hui ohana, the kapena and Dennis Pavao by far the best Hawaiian singers in my opinion !!! This is flat out old school and I loved it !!!
