Archman, I'm super interested in your strider mini 75, that cool earth tone two pin contruction one, really cool knife. thing is another reviewer, jdavis882, just blasted the steel, S35VN, for being basically on par with 8cr...what's your take on this?? how do you feel it stacks up against S30V??

awesome interview with Bob Dozier - watch?v=nI_73zvGx5Y - he mentions at the end that damascus isn't necessary with modern steels. He says he collects CRKs! :)

A couple questions for you, Archman. Any tips for newbies on sharpening? You mentioned sharpmaker... is getting the angle difficult by hand? Some how-to-Boognish videos would be cool. And I was wondering what you thoughts are on damascus blades. eg: kanetsune sazanami

@ThePhilapplication it's all about the blade grind. The high full flat grind is where it's at. Honestly there is no comparison in performance. The only thing is the BS bead blast/tiger stripe on the MFS. I refinished mine with 3M pads then various polishes. The WP is a bad ass LOOKING knife... Don't forget it's conception was using left over blade stock steel... (it's made to sell first and foremost... It's not the best knife.
