An unidentified performer in an archway adjacent to the main courtyard at the Musee du Louvre in Paris. The piece is a selection from Bach's Suite No. 1 in G Major for Unaccompanied Cello (BWV 1007).

  • Bach's Prelude of 1st suite. Why did some people just walk by without a glance!? I've come up with an ans for this question: this Prelude is so much like part of the air, so natural to the suroundiong! And his performance was quite smooth and averagely well.

  • I thought the girl walking by at 0:36 was a horse at first haha

  • @winterwolf498 he plays the version with more legate and not like the orginal version that bach wrote

  • The fluidity of his bow is remarkable...

  • U are amazingly talented. I am a former cello player and I hope to be able to one day play that song as beautiful as u did. (quite inspiring)

  • i think i would have sat on the ground and listened @.@

  • LOVE IT! I WANNA LEARN FROM HIM

  • I play the prelude out on the streets with my cello a lot!...but i play it on tempo. He's a wee bit slow. But's thats probably because I can only do the first two pages at speed, and he did the whole thing.I couldn't walk right past.

  • I'm no cellist, but this is wonderful! I couldn't just walk past...

  • @FransoisBike prolly cause its typical playing, Cliche.
