In a case of syncrocity of some kind, last Saturday there was supposed to be a parade celebrating the 40th anniversy of the court case saving Cockenoe Island from becoming a nuke plant. I had no idea this was scheduled when I made the previous vid about it, so I was felt compelled to record the event. Sadly, there were only a handful of boats lead by a police boat to recognize the victory of the people in the court case.

I edited this in Premiere Elements, saved it as an AVI, then encoded the AVI using Windows Media Encoder.

  • Travel & places is such a neglected category in Youtube and in real life. Nice outdoors video. Where did the audio jam in the beginning come from?

  • I created a repeating pattern in the key of D in Cakewalk Project 5 using MIDI then played the a D Major 7th chord followed by a C Major 7th on the guitar (tuned down a half step).

  • back in the '80s, the fam and i used to spend august at chapman beach in westbrook. the beach has now been washed away due to property disputes involving the condos on the chalker beach side, the new owners of the house located on chapman beach and the chapman beach association. the condo ppl and the house owner didn't want to share the beach, so CBA didn't rebuild a jeti. now the wetlands are being washed away. i don't know why the EPA doesn't just build the jeti. i tell ya, it's screwy.

  • is the workflow better in Project 5 compared to Sonar?

  • Thanks.

  • Yes, what is troubling though is that most recently the eminent domain case in Connecticut known as Kelo vs City of New London apparently results in corporations having the power to acquire property held by citizens.
