Female figure skaters put on "Baby Doll" lingere -- knowingly and intendedly sexual -- and ice skates -- which in itself is a weird combination. Then they skate around in public showing off just about everything they have -- and don't get even ticketed, let alone arrested.
Yet we're to pretend we don't notice any of that.

May be he just had a limited vocabulary. He could have said: charismatic, fiesty, sparkling, sizzling, lively, energectic, fearless, vivid, stella, shining, powerful, precocious, courageous, appealing, attractive, likeable, loveable, admirable, determined, ambitious, passionate, disciplined, stylish, professional, controlled, solid, self-assured, grounded, full of potential, precious, delightful, cute, impish, dazzling, has the "wow" factor, formidable, awe-inspiring, positive, gobsmaking, etc

Calling a regular 13 y/o little girl sexy is a little creepy. However, Michelle is an entertainer and from a young age, he could see she was perhaps "kinda sexy" in selling her routine. I think from an entertainment ice skating point of view its NOT BAD, besides "kinda" softens the word sexy very much

Its like trying to call Tara Lipinski 'sexy' at the age of 9. Which is why I do agree that not only its inappropriate, but not accurate.
