I recently moved to 9th Ave. between 48/49 street, which of course gets significant congestion from tunnel traffic. Though I love the pedestrian ideas, it does cause other problems which 'Mayor Useless' chooses to ignore. I previously lived on w 14th st @ just inside of 9th ave, and I had to move out after living there 10 years, because of traffic noise created by the "plaza" built down there. I BEGGED the city to do something, & I was ignored. See my youtube videos if you have a moment.
