-Look what the Kevin, Joe, and Frankie gave us!- Miley exclaimed. All three girls held up their roses.
-Aw how sweet, come on lets find a vase. I'll take these. You girls go have fun.- Mrs. Carter took the roses and headed to fins a vase.
Demi walked up behind Joe and tapped him on the shoulder.
-Hey!- she squealed.
-Hey. Wow you look great! he complimented-
-Thanks. You look handsome too. I love the suit- Demi brushed her fingers over Joes shiny suit.
-Would you like to dance?- Joe held out his hand for Demi to take.
-Yes, I would like that very much- Demi smiled as Joe twirled her onto the dance floor.
Demis POV:
Joe danced with me for three songs. One of those songs was slow song. He is so romantic. I rested my head in his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I felt so safe with him. The song ended and I told him I needed to rejuvenate myself. I left him on the dance floor for the refreshment table. As I was walking toward, I saw someone blocking the punch. Her back turned to me, but her dress sparkled and I noticed she had tiny blonde streaks in her hair. I immediately knew who she was.
Candie? I asked as my mouth dropped.
The girl turned around and lifted her white mask. Demi?
I ran to her and hugged her deeply. Wow, I cant believe its you!!!! I havent seen you since the 6 grade!!! I laughed.
Its been too long!!!! She said still hugging me.
I forgot all about my need for a drink and followed Candie to a table to chat.

OK, well in 6 grade, I was always sick and missed too much school. So sadly I got held back. But I got tutoring over the summers and got back up to speed.
Why were you so sick all the time? I had half a best friend through middle school Demi joked.
I went to hospital for my constant migraines, but them they did some tests and it turned out I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

Dont be. Im fine now. Im on medication for my migraines and I have a Omni-pod to help regulate my blood sugar. Candie explained as she took a sip of her punch.
Oh thats good. I smiled.
We looked at each other and laughed.
Joe came gliding over.

Oh sorry. I just got caught up catching up with one of my best friends. Joe, this is my best friend, Candie Rivers. I introduced.
Nice to meet you, Joe shook her hand and gave her a little kiss on the cheek. Can I see you for a moment Demi? Joe asked as he took my hand.

I waved and smiled as Joe led me off into the distance.
Joe took me out of the room and into another room down the hall. He told me to take a seat next to the big window. The sun was setting and it was quickly turning dark. Joe grabbed the guitar that was sitting near the window. He sat scross me and smiled.

Joe took the box from me and slipped on the ring on my ring finger.

Joe, I dont know what to say I love it, and I love you! I hugged him tightly.
Joe stood up and helped me up. He held my hands and looked deep into my eyes. I looked deep into his hazel eyes. We kissed as the sun set on us.
Wed better get back to the party Joe whispered.

I took his hand and we glided back to the party.
