Meet Stefanie LaRue, who was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer at the age of 30 after being told by her doctors that she was too young to have breast cancer. After multiple surgeries and months of chemo, Stefanie's doctors have classified her as having no evidence of the disease. Today, Stefanie acts as an advocate for breast cancer education and prevention, sharing her story with others and urging women to empower themselves as patients.

  • wow ty 4 sharing this great video of a survivor....she is so amazing

  • LUMPS belong in jars of formaldehyde ~ NOT in our bodies. If any body tells you your lump is fine and to wait and watch it, get it removed ASAP and let them watch the lump in a jar on their desk. Remember this: The ONLY way to know if a lump is cancer or benign (not cancer) is to have a biopsy on the lump. I had a lump, 7 years of mammograms and ultra sounds did NOT show the lump, found out those test are only 45% accurate. I insisted my lump be removed, it was cancer. Stage 3a ~ 8+ cm

  • I was diagnosed with stage 4 at age 38 with no history. I'm trying to stay strong and beat it the best I can. I'm taking chemo in pill form and other medications. Does anyone have any dietary recomendations ? Any input about the survival rate ?

  • u are a very strong woman i admire u my mom was dignosed with bgreast cancer recently i really wish more woman would educate there selves about breast cancer

  • My thoughts are with you. Physicians need to quit stereotyping. The first time I had cancer in 2001 when I was 27. It took them 3 years to listen to me. My cancer came back recently of May of 2008 on the other breast and now I am stage 4. I went in 2002 every year up until 2006 and was asked for them to do a biopsy it didn't feel right. Even with prior history still hard to get them to listen. You will be in my thoughts and kick its butt lol. Take care. Cheers

  • FOR YOUR STRENGTH....BRAVA!

  • you are truly an inspiration
