The Mount Sutro trail network in San Francisco is rapidly becoming one of the cities best outdoor recreation experience by hike or bike. The effort of the volunteer stewardship is nothing short of phenomenal, and the community is has built is equally special.
This short video is from the National Trail Day event with the Mount Sutro Stewards and San Francisco Rec & Park. It captures the very first efforts of realigning the trail and restoring the habitat in the Interior Greenbelt.
Wonderful! I SO love Mount Sutro. Will place the URL for this on my blog. They've done such a marvelous job on the trails. I used to go up here several years ago and the difference is really impressive. It's a beautiful wild area and I never get tired of hiking around up here. A wild oasis in the middle of San Francisco. Thanks, Stewards.

Thanks for cleaning up this great space. It happens to be where I grew up. Very cool!
