Nicolas FOLMER 4tet invite Bob MINTZER au Duc des Lombards

Membre co-fondateur du Paris Jazz Big Band, Nicolas Folmer est aussi lun de nos meilleurs trompettistes. Influencé par le jeu et la musique du musicien et orchestrateur Bob Mintzer, il a choisi de le convier sur ce nouveau projet de compositions originales Out Off The Beaten Tracks, un album « live » dans les bacs prochainement !
Bob Mintzer est devenu célèbre grâce à son travail au sein du mythique big band de Jaco Pastorius puis avec son propre big band. Il a également partagé la scène ou enregistré comme soliste avec les Rolling stones, Aretha Franklin, Queen, Buddy Rich, Thad Jones, Tito Puente, Michael Brecker, James Taylor. Il est également membre et compositeur du groupe culte « les Yellow Jackets ».
